Tom Brady: Listening to pre-draft scouting report still gets me fired up
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady had one of the worst pre-draft scouting reports in NFL history. According to the seven-time Super Bowl champion, listening to the report still gets him going.
On Sunday, Brady shared a video of him hearing his pre-draft scouting report, which ended up being wildly inaccurate. He said it still gets him "fired up," even after 21 NFL seasons.
The 43-year-old's scouting report put emphasis on his poor build, lack of physical strength and getting knocked down easily. Brady fell to the 199th pick in the 2000 NFL Draft. Little did the New England Patriots know they found a diamond in the rough.
Since then, Brady has won seven Super Bowls, five Super Bowl MVPs, three NFL MVPs and much more. Quite frankly, he took that scouting report to heart and will continue to use it as fuel until he retires.
