Former Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita is not impressing at Werder Bremen this season.

The Guinea international had hoped to put his injury nightmare with Liverpool behind him.

However, the diminutive 28-year-old has not been settling in as expected at Bremen.

Per German outlet DeichStube, Keita has yet to win the trust of the club's hierarchy.

His punctuality and general behavior are thought to be causing issues at Werder.

Clemens Fritz, Werder Bremen's director of professional football, recently stated Keita wasn't fit enough to play: "For us in the last few weeks, the absolute priority was to get him fit and bring him to a good level. That was successful."
