Camila Cabello debuts mint green hair after splitting from Shawn Mendes

Camila Cabello is marking the next chapter in her life by sporting a new hair color.

The former Fifth Harmony member and Grammy-nominated solo artist debuted mint green hair in Instagram photos posted over the weekend:

Last Wednesday night (Nov. 19), Cabello, 24, and Shawn Mendes, 23, announced their split after two-plus years of dating with an identical statement posted to their individual Instagram Stories:

"Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward."

The former couple had been living together at Cabello's home in Miami during the coronavirus pandemic lockdown and even adopted a golden retriever puppy named Tarzan last November. More recently, they walked the red carpet together at the 2021 Met Gala in early September.

"It just wasn't a relationship that can move forward at this point," an unnamed inside source told People. "It seems the romance just fizzled."

According to E! News, the breakup was "initiated" by Mendes but Cabello ultimately "agreed" they should move forward as friends.
