The Brooklyn Nets will have a new-look roster ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season.

The Brooklyn Nets are still dealing with the aftermath of their failed Big 3 of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden.

Even though the trio has left, the Nets are still nowhere close to competing for an NBA Championship. Despite that, the Nets have made a plethora of changes to their roster ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season.

The hope is, obviously, to provide head coach Jordi Fernandez with a capable roster to compete in the Eastern Conference.

Biggest additions to the Brooklyn Nets’ roster

Cam Thomas‘ contract renewal turned out to be the biggest roadblock for the Nets this summer. After weeks of controversy, Thomas has finally agreed to a $6 million deal to return to the Nets for next season.

While he’s expected to depart next summer, the Nets also made solid additions who will likely stay on the team for years to come. That includes trading for Michael Porter Jr. in a deal with the Denver Nuggets.

With that said, here are all the additions that the Nets have made to bolster their roster this offseason.

Combining these offseason additions with five first-round pick selections in the 2025 NBA Draft, the Nets have completely revamped their roster ahead of the upcoming season.

Following a 12th seed finish in the East last season, it was obvious that the Nets needed to part ways with a few players to begin a new era.

The front office was aware of this need as they traded away Cameron Johnson while also allowing a couple of players to walk away in free agency.

Keeping that in mind, here’s every player who wouldn’t be on the Nets’ roster for the 2025-26 NBA season.

With these moves, the Nets’ 2025-26 season starting lineup will be injected with a breath of fresh air. But is it good enough to clinch a postseason spot? Only time will tell.
