Jennifer Coolidge turned down hot dog endorsement after 'Legally Blonde 2'

Jennifer Coolidge couldn't have been more convincing in "Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde" when she said, "Oh my God, you look like the Fourth of July. Makes me want a hot dog real bad."

The beloved actress has revealed that she turned down a hot dog endorsement deal after the 2003 movie came out.

"I was offered one and I turned it down," Coolidge told People. "It was a hot dog company that just did the meat hot dog, and I eat these amazing plant-based hot dogs. So I said to the company, 'If you guys come out with plant-based hot dogs, I will definitely do a commercial for you.'"

She added: "You know what's funny? Whenever I eat a hot dog, there's not one person who can keep their mouth shut. They have to go, 'Oh, that's so on brand, Jennifer. You're having a hot dog! Makes me want one real bad!' And I'm like—'Look, I'm not making any money off this. I'm just eating this hot dog because I'm hungry and I like this snack.'"

While the unnamed hot dog company struck out with Coolidge, they could try to land Ariana Grande, whose impression of Coolidge is truly uncanny.

And earned Coolidge's stamp of approval.

Coolidge will be in an Uber Eats ad during Super Bowl LVI this Sunday. Watch below.
