NBC cancels 'Night Court,' 'Suits LA,' 'Found' and more

Sadly, five NBC shows will not be returning for the 2025-26 season. These cancellations include Found, Night Court, Lopez Vs. Lopez, The Irrational, and Suits LA

The season 2 finale of Found has not aired yet, so it is unclear if it will include a cliffhanger. The series came from creator/showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll and starred Shanola Hampton, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta, and Karan Oberoi. According to Deadline, it could be shopped elsewhere by Warner Bros. Television.

As for Night Court, it ended on a major cliffhanger with Abby’s husband showing up. The storyline served as a reunion between Melissa Rauch and her The Big Bang Theory husband, Simon Helberg, who would have reprised his role in a fourth season. There was "a late push" for the show to receive a shorter final season. The cast also included John Larroquette, Nyambi Nyambi, Lacretta, and Wendie Malick, with Marsha Warfield often appearing. It may be shopped by Warner Bros. Television.

Lopez Vs. Lopez starring George Lopez and Mayan Lopez was cancelled following its third season. The series, created by the father-and-daughter duo and Debby Wolfe, was one of the first broadcast comedies to follow a Latinx family, which makes this loss even more unfortunate. Additionally, it starred Selenis Leyva, Brice Gonzalez, Matt Shively, and Al Madrigal.

After season 2 of The Irrational, which concluded back in March, the show will not receive a third season. The crime drama starred Jesse L. Martin and was based on Dan Ariely's Predictably Irrational. Maahra Hill, Travina Springer, Molly Kunz, and Arash DeMaxi completed the cast.

The Suits spin-off, Suits LA, from creator Aaron Korsh was canceled after just one season despite bringing back OG cast members such as Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, and David Costabile. Stephen Amell, Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt, Bryan Greenberg, Troy Winbush, Rachelle Goulding, Azita Ghanizada, Maggie Grace, and Alice Lee starred. The finale will air on May 18.

These cancellations come after the entertainment programming cutback made by the network to make room for next season's NBA coverage.
