Emmanuel Acho thinks Odell Beckham Jr. could make Cowboys a Super Bowl team

Former NFL player and current FS1 personality Emmanuel Acho thinks free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. could make the Dallas Cowboys championship contenders.

"Think about the teams that were in the Super Bowl last year," Acho said during Tuesday's edition of the "Speak" FS1 program. "They had two bona fide receivers. The (Los Angeles Rams) were in the Super Bowl last year. They had themselves a Cooper Kupp. They had themselves an Odell Beckham. Who did they face? The Cincinnati Bengals. Who did the Bengals have? They had themselves a Ja'Marr Chase. They had themselves a Tee Higgins."

Acho made his comments after Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones told Dallas sports radio station 105.3 The Fan that Beckham "could look pretty good" wearing a Dallas uniform. Last week, CBS Sports' Tyler Sullivan predicted that OBJ will sign with the Cowboys whenever the 30-year-old is physically able to return from the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee that he suffered during Super Bowl LVI in February.

Varying reports have said Beckham could be able to face live defenses again at any point between the middle of this month and mid-to-late December.

In late October, Jones admitted that Beckham "is a player that I admire a lot" after club legend and Hall of Famer Michael Irvin claimed to have "personal knowledge of knowing how much Odell Beckham would love to play for the Dallas Cowboys." The Rams, Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens have all also been mentioned as potential options for the three-time Pro Bowl selection.

Beckham originally signed with the Rams in November 2021 and recorded 27 receptions for 305 yards and five touchdowns in eight regular-season games. He then accumulated 21 catches for 288 yards and two scores during the playoffs before his injury.
