Chris Pratt paid a visit to the set of Superman recently.

The actor, who plays Starlord in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy movies, crossed over to comic book rivals DC for a peek at its big new release.

James Gunn, who directed Pratt in all three Guardians of the Galaxy movies, helms Superman. He posted a pic of Pratt’s visit on Instagram, captioning it “Always nice to have friends visiting set.”

Gunn was probably keen to downplay rumors Pratt has a role in Superman, and that this is merely a casual drop-in. The Superman cast has, afterall, already been locked in.

Added to that, the Guardians of the Galaxy will return, says Zoe Saldana, so you can count on Pratt to reprise his role there.

That said, the actor is not averse to working with both Marvel and DC. Talking to ComicBook on the press tour for Garfield, which he voices, Pratt said: "Well, it probably makes more sense that I would be Star Lord again. But anything is possible, and especially with James over at DC. Maybe there's something that would be right over there. Maybe both. How about both? Let's do both. I think it's 100% both."
