Demi Lovato launching her own podcast

Demi Lovato is setting a new standard for reclaiming your narrative.

This is a huge week for the 28-year-old pop star. The third episode of her already critically acclaimed YouTube Originals documentary series Demi Lovato: Dancing With The Devil drops Tuesday afternoon and her seventh studio album similarly titled Dancing With The Devil/The Art of Starting Over—which she has often labeled her most honest work yet—will be released Friday.  Lovato added another layer Tuesday morning by announcing she has her own podcast "coming soon."

"More details coming in May," she said in a video posted to her Instagram Story, noting that the podcast will be available to listeners through "the brand new Audicy app and everywhere that you listen to your podcasts." The not-yet-titled project will come through Cadence 13 with production by OBB and SB Projects. Lovatio is managed by Scooter Braun, and her docuseries was directed by Michael D. Ratner and produced by Ratner's OBB Media.

In the way of podcasts, Lovato recently used The Joe Rogan Experience to come out as pansexual and reiterate how committed she is to finally fully living her truth:

Through its first two episodes, Dancing With The Devil recounted Lovato's near-fatal July 2018 overdose in excruciating and never-before-revealed detail.

The two-time Grammy nominee admitted that she had been five or 10 minutes away from death and suffered a heart attack along with three strokes, multiple organ failure, pneumonia and temporary blindness. She had a fentanyl-laced after relapsing from six years of sobriety in April 2018. In the months between, she experiment for the first time with hard drugs such as meth, crack cocaine and heroine.

To catch up on all things Lovato, watch the first two Dancing With The Devil episodes and listen to her  newly released single by the same name below.
