Zack Snyder's animated Twilight of the Gods finally has a release date, Netflix revealed in a new promo for the series, which gives a sneak peek at the upcoming eight-episode event for the streaming service.
A brief, bloody battle ensues in the short preview before the reveal that Twilight of the Gods will premiere only on Netflix on September 19.
The series comes from animation house Xilam Animation alongside Stone Quarry Animation and is co-created by Zack Snyder, Jay Oliva and Eric Carrasco and executive produced by Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Wesley Coller and Jay Oliva.

Stuart Martin voices Leif, with Sylvia Hoeks as Sigrid and Pilou Asbæk as Thor, joined by fellow voice cast members Rahul Kohli, Paterson Joseph, Jamie Clayton, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Kristofer Hivju, Thea Sofie Loch Næss, John Noble, and Peter Stormare.
Zack Snyder will direct the first and final episodes, with Jay Oliva and Andrew Tamandl, Tim Divar and Dave Hartman serving as directors on the other episodes.
