On a social media post, Tuesday, March 12, Miranda Lambert shared  her new hobby and her new love, all wrapped up in one.

The latest addition to the Lambert family is a stunning new paint horse named, 'Cool'. Lambert described her new addition as a, "Match made in cowgirl heaven."

Lambert disclosed that in the last few months she has taken on a new hobby of mounted shooting.  She revealed that since she turned 40 in November, she was ready to challenge herself with something new.

Challenges are something that Lambert has never turned down.  Lambert start her career by launching a self-titled debut album independently.  She went on a few years later to compete and finish third on Nashville Star.  She has had a successful solo career while also being a member of Pistol Annies, a group formed in 2011.

The eight time Female Vocalist of the Year has released eight solo albums over her career along with having five number one hits on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

The award winning Country superstar is finishing her residence in Las Vegas and will have the final concert on April 6, 2024. She will then have nine more shows in 2024 at various music festivals across the United States.

All the while, Lambert will be spending time with the new man in her life, "Cool" and perfecting her new hobby of mounted shooting.  In December of 2023, Lambert offered on social media that she had taken a break from her Las Vegas residency to head to Arizona to do some "cowgirl fun."

She thanked her hosts for having her and said, "Y'all can't get rid of us now. See ya way too soon."

Lambert meant it because she went back to the very same friend, Kenda Lenseigne, to purchase her new horse and do more mounted shooting.

In her takeaway from her December trip, Lambert stated the things she had learned, "Bear Down; Stay ready so you don't have to get ready; and Do whatever is fun."  It must have been fun, she came back for more and is going to be "Cool" doing it.
