Adele gets prime-time special on CBS, including an Oprah interview

It's an Adele autumn.

The 15-time Grammy winner announced Monday morning that she will take over CBS for "One Night Only" on Sunday, Nov. 14:

CNN relayed the following from an official news release: "The special will feature an exclusive interview with Adele by Oprah Winfrey from her rose garden, in Adele's first televised wide-ranging conversation about her new album, the stories behind the songs, life after divorce, weight loss and raising her son."

The two-hour broadcast will feature "an extraordinary concert performance" filmed from Los Angeles as "the earliest opportunity to hear her new first new material in six years." The 33-year-old will also perform "chart-topping hits, in addition to several never-before-heard songs."

Beginning at 8:30 p.m. EST, Adele One Night Only will kick off her highly anticipated album release week. She dropped "Easy On Me" last Friday (Oct. 15), her first solo release since her November 2015 album 25 and the lead single off her fourth studio album 30, due Nov. 19.
