Billie Eilish stuns in somber 'Male Fantasy' music video

Add director and editor to Billie Eilish's ever-growing list of abilities.

Eilish unveiled the music video for her ballad "Male Fantasy" on Monday morning (Dec. 6), and the visual was completely directed and edited by the seven-time Grammy winner:

The 19-year-old teased the video Sunday (Dec. 5), days after breaking Instagram by debuting a new brunette hair style, and emphasized how much it meant to her: "finallyyyyyyyyyy!! directed and EDITED BY meeeeeeeeeee! one of my first videos to edit all alone and it was such a fun task and very very satisfying. see you tomorrow ;))))))"

In the moody visual, Eilish stoically passes the time alone in the house, trying to numb her pain with a bath, a snack or just a blank stare into space, while trying to reconcile heartbreak and the inevitability of growing apart.

"Male Fantasy" is the sixteenth and final track on Happier Than Ever, Eilish's sophomore studio album that arrived in July.

Happier Than Ever is nominated for album of the year, while the title track is up for record of the year, song of the year and best pop solo performance, at the upcoming 64th Grammy Awards on Jan. 31, 2022. Eilish is nominated seven times overall.

But before that, Eilish is pulling double duty on this week's Saturday Night Live (Dec. 11) as host and musical guest.
