Watch: Tom Holland, Zendaya geek out while acing 'Harry Potter' quiz
Tom Holland claimed in February 2020 to BBC Radio 1's Ali Plumb that he knows more about the "Harry Potter" franchise than J.K. Rowling, the author of the novel series from which the eight record-breaking films were adapted.
Plumb remembered that and put him to the test, along with "Spider-Man" costar and all-but-confirmed girlfriend Zendaya.
The duo were correctly able to identify the pets of Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), Hermione Granger (Emma Watson), Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane), and even Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis).
"You know what's so funny, though?" Holland said. "I can remember all of that stuff, but when I was at school, if you said to me, 'Do a single tables equation," my brain was like, 'Nah, not happening.' But I can tell you all the horcruxes, everything."
"Spider-Man: No Way Home" is due in theaters next Friday, and for those like Holland who have an equal emotional stake in the Potterverse, the "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts" reunion special will hit HBO Max on Jan. 1, 2022. Watch trailers for both below.
