Sharon Stone reveals her 11-month-old nephew, River, has died of organ failure
Sharon Stone is grieving an unimaginable loss.
Monday (Aug. 30), the 63-year-old acclaimed actress shared that her 11-month-old godson and nephew, River William Stone, has died through an Instagram video featuring "Tears In Heaven" by Eric Clapton playing overtop footage of the boy:
Stone had taken to Instagram just days earlier begging for prayers after River "was found in his crib w[ith] total organ failure":
River was the son of Stone's brother Patrick and his wife, Tasha, as confirmed when he went home from the hospital last September. The Basic Instinct and Casino star also has another brother, Mike, and a sister, Kelly, who was hospitalized with COVID-19 last August and ultimately made a full recovery.
Stone has three sons—21-year-old Roan, 16-year-old Laird and 15-year-old Quinn—whom she adopted.
