Seth Rogen launches cannabis company: 'I really love weed'

In April 2019, Seth Rogen stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and discussed how prevalent marijuana has been in his filmmaking through the years.

"I smoke weed all day, every day of my life," the 38-year-old actor, director, producer and writer said, and then Colbert asked if Rogen had ever acted while high: "For the last 20 years, exclusively."

Put more succinctly, the following news should not come as a surprise.

Monday, Rogen announced that he is launching his cannabis and ceramics company called Houseplant in the United States with products available in California next week:

Houseplant was originally launched as a Canadian entity in March 2019. Rogen, born in Vancouver, co-founded the venture with childhood friend and screenwriter Evan Goldberg. The duo have worked together on iconic comedy films such as Knocked Up, Superbad and Pineapple Express.
