Ariana Grande joins the cast of 'Meet the Parents 4'

Ariana Grande officially has her first project post-Wicked, and it's a fun one: Meet the Parents 4. The actress received praise from both critics and fans for her incredible performance as Glinda in Jon M. Chu's Wicked: Part 1, which earned her Academy Award, Golden Globe, SAG, and BAFTA nominations in the Best Supporting Actress category.

Wicked came out last year and, after breaking box office records, is the most successful Broadway musical film adaptation of all time.

For Meet the Parents 4, she will be teaming up with Universal Pictures once again, which, according to DEADLINE, will arrive on November 25, 2026. The franchise started with Meet the Parents back in 2000. Meet the Fockers then premiered in 2004, followed by Little Fockers in 2010

Original cast members Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, and Blythe Danner are all set to return with John Hamburg directing and writing the script. At this time, it is unclear who Grande will play.

She shared the exciting news on her Instagram Stories, writing, "very thrilled to be joining (meeting) the family!!!!!!!"

Producers include Jane Rosenthal and De Niro through Tribeca Productions, Jay Roach through Delirious Media, Stiller and John Lesher through Red Hour Films, along with Hamburg through Particular Pictures.

While we don't know much about the storyline, Rosenthal told Variety, "We’d always talked about it [making a fourth]. Ben Stiller is now the same age that Bob was when we did the first one, and his kids have grown up, and they have to come home and meet the parents. I can’t disclose anything else about the plot."

As for Wicked: For Good, mark your calendars for November 21 and prepare to return to the "wonderful" world of Oz with Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum, Marissa Bode, Ethan Slater, and Michelle Yeoh.
