Rick Neuheisel Predicts Massive Upset in College Football on Saturday

Former UCLA head coach and alumnus Rick Neuheisel is known for picking upsets week in and week out in college football, and he did just that during Tuesday's episode of "Inside College Football" on CBS Sports.

Week 13 of college football is filled with massive games, many carrying major College Football Playoff and Top 25 implications. However, one matchup may stand out more than the rest: the Big Ten showdown in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday afternoon.

Neuheisel predicts that the unbeaten No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers will travel to Ohio Stadium and defeat the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes outright. The Hoosiers are currently 13-point underdogs, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

"Hickory is gonna take down the mighty Buckeyes. Hickory in this case being Crut Cignetti's Hoosiers. Hoosier's Daddy!" Neuheisel said.

This would be a program-defining victory for a team like Indiana, which has faced significant backlash and controversy over its overall strength of schedule. However, a win on the road against a powerhouse like Ohio State—given all the talent the Buckeyes have from a recruiting standpoint—would be massive for Indiana University as a whole.

What Curt Cignetti has accomplished with Indiana is remarkable. The Hoosiers are 10-0 for the first time in program history, and the winner of this game will likely face the No. 1 Oregon Ducks in Indianapolis in December for the Big Ten title. This makes the game even more significant, with implications extending beyond just the playoff race and Top 25 seeding.

The Big Ten clash is set to kick off at 12 p.m. EST, with both “Big Noon Kickoff” and “College GameDay” in attendance. The game will be broadcast on Fox.
