It's well known that Tennessee Vols baseball coach Tony Vitello is good friends with country music superstar Morgan Wallen, an East Tennessee native who is a massive fan of UT athletics.

What you might not know is that Vitello is such good friends with Wallen that he sometimes get unreleased music straight from the singer himself (which he shares with the Tennessee baseball team).

"I don't know if I'm there yet," said Vitello on Wednesday during an in-game interview when asked about his favorite song from Wallen's new album. "We got the slow drip and we had a couple [of songs] maybe not released to the public yet. So we've certainly abused it (the new album) to this point. And for good reason, the guy is insanely talented."

"And he's a good dude, he was a good ball player. His mom used to get on him to quit practicing on the guitar [and] to work on baseball. His mom's a sweet lady, but I think she was wrong on that one."

"He could play and he was not afraid to maybe start a brew ha-ha every now and then," added Vitello when asked about Wallen's high school baseball career. "That passion he's got, I think, is a big part of what makes it go for him. Could not be a nicer or more humble guy away from all of this stuff."

I think it's safe to say that Vitello is firmly in Wallen's very small inner-circle, which is something I'm sure many Tennessee fans will be jealous of.
