Watch: Vanderbilt's Parker Noland smashes two grand slams against Mississippi State

Vanderbilt first baseman Parker Noland had himself a day against Mississippi State on Friday, smashing two grand slams in a 26-3 blowout win for the Commodores.

After going down on strikes looking in his first at-bat of the day, Noland went 5-for-5 the rest of the way, posting three singles and two long balls to finish with 11 RBI.

After driving three runs across the plate already, Noland tagged his first grand slam in the sixth inning, going opposite field to give the Commodores a 21-2 lead.

An inning later in the seventh, Noland struck again with the bases juiced, stretching Vanderbilt's advantage to 26-3 on his second homer of the afternoon.

According to Aria Gerson of the Tennessean, Noland's 11 RBI set Vanderbilt's single-game program record, topping Connor Kaiser's 10-RBI outing in 2018.

Noland doubled his offensive output for the entire season on Friday. Heading into the contest against Mississippi State, Noland was batting .244/.314/.385 with two home runs and 10 RBI over 87 plate appearances.

Noland, Tennessee's "Mr. Baseball" in 2018, was selected by the Miami Marlins in the 31st round of the 2019 MLB Draft. Now, he has his name etched in the Vanderbilt record books.

Surprisingly, Noland isn't the first collegiate player to go yard twice with the bases full. Last month, North Kentucky infielder Liam McFadden-Ackman posted a two-grand slam performance to go along with a cycle against Western Michigan.

With baseballs seemingly flying out of ballparks at a record pace already, it could be a long spring for pitchers with the College World Series still three months away.
