2 Baylor prospects to participate in 2023 NBA Draft Combine
Michael Ciaglo-USA TODAY Sports

Two Baylor Bears players will participate in the 2023 NBA Draft Combine. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Woo, guards Adam Flagler and Keyonte George will both take part in the event.

George projects to be a lottery pick. Bleacher Report’s Zach Buckley had him going 13th overall in his latest mock draft. As a freshman, the five-star recruit averaged 15.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.1 steals. However, he was not an efficient shooter; he shot 37.6 percent from the field and 33.8 percent from deep.

Flagler declared for the NBA Draft in March, while maintaining his college eligibility. Last season, he averaged 15.6 points, 4.6 assists, and 1.4 steals, while shooting 40.0 percent from three. The 23-year-old is an NBA-ready prospect. He is projected to be a second-round pick, but there is still a possibility that he could return to school. Last year, he declared for the draft, but ultimately, returned to Baylor.
