USC football is putting together a stacked recruiting class for 2026. Trojans basketball is trying to do their part in winning over recruits.

USC caught the attention of one high-profile guard already. Inglewood High star Jason Crowe revealed he's taking a liking to USC. Especially after watching the Trojans in action himself.

The 6-foot-2 Crowe is highly coveted on the recruiting trail. Blue blood programs like Kentucky, Texas, Sweet 16 team Arkansas and USC's rival UCLA have offered Crowe already. But USC and head coach Eric Musselman is trying to coax him into joining the Trojans.

Crowe likes one aspect of the Trojans. He told On3's Jamie Shaw what he enjoyed seeing out of USC during the time he took a visit on campus.

"I just recently went to their practice. I saw that they play fast-paced, and that is how I like to play," Crowe said. "The practice I went to, they didn’t really didn’t get into much, but what I liked about it is that it was high-paced the whole time.”

Crowe rose on the college basketball recruiting trail as an aggressive scorer. He's attempting to diversify his game moving forward, though.

"I’m becoming more than just a scorer,” Crowe told On3. “I’m definitely facilitating more and playing defense, I’m trying to be an all-around player."

When did he start to address making changes to his skillset? It involves looking at a certain list.

"I came out this summer with the mentality that I have to go kill. And that is what I have been doing, I’m going at all the top guys who are ranked ahead of me. Right now, that’s my mindset every game," Crowe said.

He's currently on the club basketball circuit for the summer by suiting up for the Oakland Soldiers. Crowe is averaging 23.8 points per game during the summer tour.
