Arkansas assistant involved in postgame altercation with reporter

The race to the NCAA Tournament is a grind and can occasionally bring out the worst in some, even coaches.

Following Arkansas's 67-61 loss to Texas A&M which knocked the Razorbacks out of the SEC Tournament, a member of head coach Eric Musselman's staff had an uncomfortable altercation with a reporter.

While Arkansas players and the coaching staff walked off the floor following the defeat, a perturbed Musselman stopped near a reporter who was filming the team as they headed into the locker room. Before Musselman could speak, assistant coach Riley Hall grabbed the reporter's phone and threw it to the ground.

To make matters worse, the reporter in question, Jack Weaver, is a photojournalist and editor for the Kentucky Kernel, the University of Kentucky's student newspaper.

Attacking any journalist is an obvious no-no, but going after a student reporter has to be the lowest of lows. While neither Arkansas nor the SEC has commented on the incident, it's a good guess that we haven't heard the last of this.

This isn't the first time Arkansas' coaching staff have found themselves in an unflattering position. In November, Musselman incited a heated confrontation with San Diego State fans following the team's third-place loss at the Maui Invitational.
