For the first time in several seasons, Auburn basketball is making a big time staff change.

Wes Flanigan, the former Auburn Tigers men's basketball assistant coach, has made the decision to leave his position in Auburn to join the coaching staff at Ole Miss, where he will now be working under new head coach Chris Beard.

Flanigan was an integral part of Auburn's coaching staff for the past four seasons, bringing his son Allen Flanigan to the team and helping Auburn ink three top 25 recruiting classes.

During his time at Auburn the Tigers notched four 20-plus win seasons and made their first Final Four in school history. He will now join Beard and the Rebels in an attempt to pull the program out of the mud.

It's currently unclear where the Tigers will look for a replacement, or if Bruce Pearl will decide to promote from within for his next assistant coach.
