Big 12 Tournament’s New LED Glass Court Goes Viral

The newest iteration of technology has hit college basketball.

The ASB GlassFloor, an LED screen court, is set to be used for the Big 12 Conference tournament.

The high-tech, interactive court will create an immersive environment at a neutral site, allowing teams to have custom home courts at the touch of a button, regardless of the location.

But with any new technology, especially involving college students, there is always cause for concern.

For the Big 12 Conference, the court is also a new way to gather income from advertisers.

If the tournament goes off without any issues, expect these courts to take over college basketball tournaments across the country.
