Cameron Boozer and the No. 1 Duke Blue Devils secured their seventh-straight win on Monday night, jumping to 28-2 and 16-1 in ACC play after a 93-64 win over Will Wade and the NC State Wolfpack. Now, Duke will turn its attention to the final game of the regular season, hosting the No. 17 North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday night.
Boozer has had one of the best seasons by a freshman in Blue Devils history. The 6-foot-9 forward from Miami is averaging 22.6 points on 58.3% shooting, 10.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. And entering Monday’s win against NC State, Boozer had totaled 653 points, 291 rebounds and 115 assists in his first 29 college basketball games.
Against the in-state rival in his 30th game with Duke, Boozer had another strong outing, tallying 26 points on 8-of-10 shooting, nine rebounds and four assists. That performance brought the freshman to 679 points, 300 rebounds and 119 assists during the 2025-26 season. In doing so, Boozer put himself in a league of his own, becoming the first Division I freshman in the last 30 years to reach those numbers before the conference tournament begins.
But Boozer wasn't done making history there. The Duke star also secured his 24th-straight game with 15 or more points and five or more rebounds, tying former Purdue Boilermakers star Zach Edey for the longest Division I streak over the past 15 seasons.

Duke will face North Carolina on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ET, but the outcome won't really matter for the Blue Devils as they have already secured the No. 1 seed in the ACC Tournament.
