The Cavaliers made a pair of expected roster moves ahead of training camp, waiving Jaxson Robinson and signing then waiving Warith Alatishe, per the NBA’s transaction log.
Robinson, who went undrafted out of Kentucky, joined Cleveland on an Exhibit 10 deal in early July. The five-year college veteran saw limited action during Summer League, averaging 3.0 points and 1.8 rebounds across four appearances in Las Vegas.
Alatishe, a 6-foot-7 forward who wrapped up his college career at Oregon State, split last season between the Cleveland Charge and the Texas Legends.
In the G League, he averaged 8.4 points and 6.6 rebounds in 21.5 minutes per game.
Both players are expected to head to the Charge this fall, where they’ll be eligible for Exhibit 10 bonuses of up to $85,300 if they stick with the team for at least 60 days, on top of their standard G League salaries.
