Before the men's Elite Eight ended, CBS announced the Final Four matchups.
Houston joined Florida and Duke in the Final Four by defeating Tennessee on Sunday. All four No. 1 seeds will go to San Antonio if Auburn defeats Michigan State in the regional final showdown currently airing on CBS.
As that game unfolded, CBS revealed the start times for next week's national semifinal matchups. Florida will face Auburn or Michigan State on Saturday, April 5, at 6:09 p.m. ET. Houston will then play Duke at approximately 8:49 p.m. ET, depending on when the first contest ends.
Ian Eagle, Bill Raftery, and Grant Hill will call the games alongside sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson and rules analyst Gene Steratore.
The top seeds have continued a trend of chalk outcomes by advancing deep into the men's tournament.
On Saturday, Florida became the first team to punch its Final Four ticket. Down by nine with three minutes remaining, the Gators closed the game on a 15-4 run to secure an 84-79 triumph over Texas Tech.
Florida, which also survived a second-round scare against UConn, has now won 10 straight games. Walter Clayton Jr. is averaging 22.3 points per game throughout the tournament after scoring 30 on Saturday.
The Gators could see an SEC rival for a spot in the National Championship Game. Florida defeated No. 1 Auburn in their prior February meeting.
Later on Saturday, Duke delivered far less drama with an 85-65 rout over Alabama. The Blue Devils have won their four NCAA tournament games by a combined 93 points, improving their average scoring margin to a blistering plus-21.1 per game.
Duke is firing on all cylinders behind star freshmen Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel, but the ACC champions will face a formidable challenger next Saturday.
Houston extended its winning streak to 17 with a dominant 69-50 victory over Tennessee on Sunday. The Cougars have stymied opponents to 56.5 points per game during the tournament and haven't lost in regulation since falling to Auburn on Nov. 9, the second game of the season.
KenPom.com ranks Duke and Houston atop its net ratings with the best offense and defense, respectively. While some fans may have wanted more upsets, they're now in store for two heavyweight matchups on Saturday before the championship game on Monday, April 7 at 8:50 p.m. ET.
