Friday night features a super small slate of college basketball games, but don't let that deter you from putting together this college basketball parlay. There's still plenty of value out there, and we found two teams we really like to win outright on Friday. Now the value isn't great at -125, but that's not super bad, either. Especially when you consider how bad both team's opponents are.
Loyola Chicago is dead last in the Atlantic 10, and we don't see that changing anytime soon. The Ramblers officially joined the A10 this year after coming over from the Missouri Valley Conference, and it's going to take some time before they start consistently winning. So, in the meantime, we're going to continue to bet against Loyola.
Loyola Chicago lost to Dayton back in late January and have dropped three of four. Meanwhile the Flyers have won back-to-back games and four of their last five. We could see this game being closer than some expect, but still take Dayton all the way. Loyola has yet to figure out the A10, and the Flyers have the second-best record in the conference.
As for the final leg of our parlay, take Rider over Canisius. The Broncs have won a season-best eight straight games and are tied for first in the MAAC at 11-3. Meanwhile the Golden Griffins have dropped six of seven and are tied for dead last in conference play. Sound like a pretty lopsided matchup, right?
But hold it right there. We're aware Canisius gave Rider everything they could handle right before the New Year, but these two teams have gone in different directions since. We don't see this game being all that competitive and wouldn't be entirely surprised if the Broncs win by double digits. However, we're going to play it safe, and just bet the moneyline to cap off our parlay.
The Parlay: Rider (moneyline) and Dayton (moneyline) (-125 odds via FanDuel)
