The Blue Devils won the ACC Tournament title, with the help of Flagg and fellow freshman Kon Knueppel. This thrust them into the NCAA Tournament as a No. 1 seed, where they beat Alabama, Arizona, Baylor and Mount St. Mary's.
Flagg, widely projected as the consensus No. 1 overall pick, now looks to lead an NBA franchise into the future.
Before heading to the NBA Draft, Duke featured Flagg in their academic achievement post.
Flagg is one of seven players to be named in the 2024-25 All-Academic Team.
The other players listed for the ACC accomplishment include: Kon Knueppel, Sion James, Caleb Foster, Tyrese Proctor, Khaman Maluach and Mason Gillis.

During his freshman season with the Duke Blue Devils, Flagg made a lasting legacy.
He won the Naismith National Player of the Year, the Wooden Award, and many other prestigious honors while being named a consensus All-American.
In his freshman season at Duke, Flagg posted 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. In his final game with the Blue Devils, a 70-67 loss to Houston in the Final Four, Flagg posted 27 points and seven rebounds.
He also finished the season with 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game, undoubtedly placing himself at the top of a prestigious list of some of the best defenders in college basketball.
