Duke Blue Devils star Cooper Flagg recently capped off one of the greatest freshman seasons in college basketball history.

Flagg led Duke to the Final Four, ultimately losing to Houston. Before falling at the hands of the Cougars, Duke defeated Alabama, Arizona, Baylor and Mount Saint Mary's.

During the NCAA Tournament, a couple of prestigious college basketball awards were announced, including National Player of the Year honors.

Flagg, who committed to Duke as the No. 1 overall player in his respective recruiting class, won the Naismith Player of the Year, AP National Player of the Year, and Wooden Award, all of which are highly regarded awards for the most outstanding player in the country.

Now, Flagg is expected to declare for the 2025 NBA Draft.

A recent mock draft by On3 had Flagg being selected with the No. 1 overall pick. In this scenario, he would be drafted by the Washington Wizards, teaming up with Jordan Poole.

During his freshman season with the Duke Blue Devils, Flagg became the first freshman in ACC history to lead his team in all five major statistical categories.

Flagg recorded 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game.

Duke capped off the year with a 35-4 record, led by Flagg and fellow freshmen Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach.

If he were to be drafted by the Wizards, Flagg would share the floor with Poole, one of the most electrifying guards in the NBA.

So far this season, Poole has averaged 20.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. The 25-year-old is currently signed to a four-year, $128 million contract

The Wizards are ranked as the No. 15 team in the Eastern Conference standings with a 17-63 record.
