Duke closed its 2024-25 slate with a sterling 35-4 record and a 19-1 ACC ledger, claiming the regular season and tournament crown.

The Blue Devils were lauded as the No. 1 team in the AP poll leading into the NCAA Tournament and made a run to the Final Four before a crushing loss to Houston in the national semifinals.

Along the way, Cooper Flagg paced the team at 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game, leading his team in every category.

He earned ACC Player of the Year, ACC Rookie of the Year and National College Player of the Year honors.

On Tuesday, Flagg quietly posted an Instagram story of himself wearing a Duke New Era cap, tagging @NewEraCap and #NewEraAmbassador, a subtle nod to his latest brand alignment.

Off the court, Flagg has already amassed a six-figure NIL portfolio ($4.8 million, per On3) headlined by deals with New Balance, Gatorade and Fanatics.

His New Balance shoe contract, which made waves last summer for its "Intelligent Choice" campaign, taps into his Maine heritage.

Meanwhile, in October 2024, he inked his first Gatorade agreement, and his Fanatics deal, signed in January, launched exclusive trading cards and memorabilia.

Now, by donning New Era headwear in his Instagram story, Flagg adds the iconic cap maker to his roster of partners.

New Era’s “Cooper Flagg Collection” already spotlights his name and Duke caps on its site, though financial terms remain undisclosed.

This latest move signals Flagg’s growing clout as both an athlete and a brand ambassador, setting the stage for his expected selection at No. 1 in the 2025 NBA Draft in June.
