The Duke Blue Devils recently capped off the college basketball season, with a successful run under head coach Jon Scheyer.
Scheyer led the program to a 35-4 record, helping Duke win the ACC Tournament and make a push to the Final Four before losing to Houston.
The Blue Devils dominated for much of the season, having defeated Alabama, Arizona, Baylor and Mount St. Mary's.
After a big season for the Duke Blue Devils, their leader on the court, Cooper Flagg, is headed to the 2025 NBA Draft.
Flagg made a lasting impact on the court, but Duke mentioned that the freshman also made waves outside of the white lines.
The Duke Blue Devils announced that Flagg was included in the 2024-25 All-ACC Academic Team.
Per Duke's website, the All-ACC Academic Team is awarded to student-athletes who got a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during their academic career and must have competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
Flagg's mother, Kelly Flagg, proudly flexed her son's achievement on her personal Instagram story.
Flagg was joined on the ACC All-Academic list with six teammates: Tyrese Proctor, Khaman Maluach, Kon Knueppel, Sion James, Mason Gillis and Caleb Foster.
When Duke made the academic announcement, it revealed that there were 120 selections in the All-ACC team, the most in conference history.
Along with making himself a star off the court, Flagg posted incredible numbers within the white lines during his freshman season with the Duke Blue Devils.
Flagg led the Blue Devils in all five major statistical categories. The former No. 1 overall recruit posted 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game.
Flagg capped off his freshman season at Duke by winning the Naismith Player of the Year and Wooden Award.
