The Gonzaga Bulldogs and Kentucky Wildcats will square off for the fourth year in a row on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN as part of a six-year series agreed to by these two programs three years ago.
Gonzaga won the first two games in the series - both coached by John Calipari - at the Spokane Arena in 2022-23 and again at Rupp Arena in Lexington in 2023-24.
But Kentucky managed to end Gonzaga's winning streak this past December under new coach Mark Pope, coming back from an 18 point second half deficit to knock out the Zags in overtime, 90-89, in the Battle in Seattle at Climate Pledge Arena.
The final two games of the series are scheduled for Rupp Arena in 2026-27 and at the McCarthey Athletic Center in 2027-28, meaning Gonzaga will play two true road games in Lexington before the Wildcats play at The Kennel.
The two programs had only met once prior to beginning this series, back in 2002 when Kentucky beat Gonzaga in the Maui Invitational 80-72.
This will be Gonzaga's second appearance at Bridgestone Arena after beating Tennessee, 86-76, back in 2016. Bridgestone Arena is home to the NHL's Nashville Predators and the host site of the SEC Tournament through 2035.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on March 7 at 8:00 AM PT, both on the Ticketmaster app and on the Bridgestone Arena website.
Tip time and TV information will be announced at a later date.
