The Duke Blue Devils won the ACC Championship and made a run to the NCAA Tournament Final Four, led by the superstar play of National Player of the Year Cooper Flagg.

Flagg amassed countless awards in his debut college basketball season, including ACC Player of the Year, ACC Freshman of the Year and consensus first-team All-American honors.

Flagg, the presumed No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft, also excelled in the classroom at Duke.

On Tuesday, Flagg was announced as one of seven Duke players to be recognized on the All-ACC Academic Team. Flagg was joined by Tyrese Proctor, Kon Knueppel, Khaman Maluach, Caleb Foster, Mason Gillis and Sion James.

Duke now has 120 All-ACC Academic Team selections — the most in history. The program has had 15 selections over the past two seasons.

"Got 7 on the All-ACC Academic Team this year!" Duke wrote in a post on social media.

77 men's basketball athletes were recognized. Flagg was one of 11 honorees to also earn All-ACC honors.

Here are the requirements to make the All-ACC Academic Team:

"Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests," the ACC writes.

Stanford led all ACC schools with nine honorees. Duke and NC State tied for second with seven selections each.

Flagg will now turn his attention toward the 2025 NBA draft.
