As you've seen over the past couple of days, West Virginia's basketball roster is constantly going through change. Well, sort of.

Four players have entered the portal, one has opted to return (Kerr Kriisa), one officially left (Tre Mitchell to Kentucky), and two others (Joe Toussaint and Mohamed Wague) are open to returning. There's also been some rumors floating around about Jose Perez, so don't be surprised if he and others see what options are out there.

Monday afternoon, interim head coach Josh Eilert met with the media for the first time since being awarded the job and talked about the roster management and what his message is to those considering leaving the program.

"These are 18-23 year olds. There's a lot of uncertainty in their life right now. There's a lot of options in their life," Eilert told reporters. "The biggest message that I have and our staff has is we care about them. We want them to know and want to reassure them that this is a great place for them. I don't want to hinder them in any way if they feel like they have another opportunity that would be better suited for them. I'm going to give them that opportunity and if they want to take a look at something else, fine. But the message here...we got something special. We've got a special group of individuals. We've got a special administration. We've got a special staff and we can do something really neat here."
