After recording a 22-13 record in the regular season and ACC Tournament, Elliot Cadeau and the North Carolina Tar Heels earned one of the final spots in the NCAA Tournament.
In their first game, UNC played just about as well as they have all season, defeating No. 11 seed San Diego State Aztecs 95-68 in the First Four. But, the Tar Heels' season ended shortly after, falling to No. 6 Ole Miss Rebels in the first round.
Following his second season in Chapel Hill, Cadeau, the sophomore guard from Branson, Missouri, has entered the transfer portal, according to On3's Pete Nakos. He has also added a "do not contact" tag as well.

Cadeau, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound point guard, was a five-star prospect in the class of 2023 coming out of Link Academy (247Sports). He was ranked as the 2nd-best point guard and the 12th-best player overall in his class.
Cadeau struggled from the field in his freshman season, averaging 7.3 points on 41.7% shooting and 18.9% from three. However, he immediately came into college and showed off his playmaking abilities, leading the Tar Heels in assists (4.1 per game).
This season, his sophomore year, Cadeau improved his efficiency and playmaking, jumping to 9.4 points on 44.5% shooting and 33.7% from deep to go along with 6.2 assists, also leading North Carolina.
In the loss to San Diego State, Cadeau tallied just four points on 1-of-8 shooting, eight assists and four steals, ending his UNC tenure on a low note. However, Cadeau should still receive a lot of attention from major programs during the transfer portal process.
