ESPN's Jay Bilas names Duke basketball's Mount Rushmore

Some absolutely phenomenal players have suited up for the Duke Blue Devils over the years, but when you're talking about the best, four players stick out.

ESPN college basketball analyst and former Blue Devil himself Jay Bilas named his top four players in Duke history, making them the Mount Rushmore of Blue Devil basketball.

His top four are as follows:

While Bilas lays out his reasoning behind each pick in the video above, let's take a look at how each  performed while he was at Duke. 

Grant Hill (1990-94)

Hill averaged 14.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game while shooting 53.2 percent from the field and 37.6 percent from beyond the arc. He was a three-time All-ACC player, two-time NCAA All-Tourney, 1993-94 ACC Player of the Year and a two-time NCAA champion. 

Christian Laettner (1988-1992)

Laettner averaged 16.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 57.4 percent from the field and 48.5 percent from three-point range. The center won the Naismith Award, Wooden Award and Rupp Trophy. He also was a three-time All-ACC player and two-time NCAA champion.

Johnny Dawkins (1982-86)

Dawkins averaged 19.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 50.8 percent from the field. He was a Naismith Award winner, four-time All-ACC player and ACC-Tourney MVP.

Bobby Hurley (1989-1993)

Hurley averaged 12.4 points, 2.2 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game while shooting 41.0 percent from the field and 40.5 percent from beyond the arc. He was a three-time All-ACC player and a two-time NCAA champion.
