Ex-Trojans Star Drops Multiple Hot Takes Regarding Current NBA
USA TODAY Sports

Current BIG 3 league player and former USC phenom Nick Young touched on multiple controversial topics on the current NBA in a recent tweet.

Purely unfiltered in his thoughts, the man formerly dubbed Swaggy P first said that the current NBA was not as skilled as fans might think.

Implying that anybody off the streets could score in such a offensively driven league with an emphasis on threes, Young said that even with such low stats, players could make substantial amounts of money.

Young wasn't done there as he also stated that his playstyle was a model for another California college legend.

While Young seems convinced that both of these statements are absolute truths, fans all across social media have ridiculed the former Trojan wing.

At USC, Young spent three seasons at the university, making a name for himself as a knockdown three point shooter and a tall wing who could get to the rim with ease.

After he averaged over 17 points per game in his final two seasons as a Trojan, Young was named first-team all conference for the Pac-10.

Fresh from his junior season, the sharpshooter entered the 2007 NBA draft where the Washington Wizards picked him 16th overall.

Scoring as many as 17 in the nation's capital, Young spent 5 seasons in D.C before he was traded to the Clippers in 2012.

Helping the Lob City era with a special playoff performance against the Memphis Grizzlies, Young later lobbied his play into a hefty contract for the other Los Angeles NBA team.

With some fun moments of highs and lows, Young spent 5 more seasons in LA as part of Kobe Bryant's twilight career teammates.

In his final years in the league, Young picked up a championship with the 2018 Warriors before he was waived by Denver to end his career.

Despite a long NBA career and a reputation as a sharpshooter, it doesn't look like the former Trojan's appetite for shots at all comers has been satisfied even in retirement.
