Final Alijah Martin NBA Draft Predictions Revealed

Alijah Martin did not come to Gainesville for a long time, but a good time. After a vivacious run with the Florida Atlantic Owls that included a Cinderella romp to the 2023 Final Four, the versatile guard entered his final season of eligibility dreaming of the chance to do it even bigger -- and the choice he made was ultimately a stroke of pure genius.

The Summit, Mississippi native chose to conclude his college career with Todd Golden's Florida Gators. After his final game -- a comeback thriller against the Houston Cougars in San Antonio -- he lifted the program's third-ever national championship trophy, sealing his legacy in southern hoops lore.

But if Martin has it his way, the dream is far from over. He enters this week's NBA Draft as a uniquely battle-tested prospect ready to contribute at both ends on day one.

So, where do top experts see A-Mart landing? Let's take a closer look.

Final Alijah Martin NBA Draft Projections 2025

  • ESPN: Phoenix Suns (via Denver Nuggets), Round 2, No. 52 overall
  • The Athletic: Utah Jazz (via Dallas Mavericks), Round 2, No. 43 overall
  • Yahoo Sports: Oklahoma City Thunder, Round 2, No. 44 overall
  • Sports Illustrated: Houston Rockets (via OKC Thunder), Round 2, No. 59 overall
  • No Ceilings: San Antonio Spurs, Round 2, No. 38 overall

The possibilities here, to say the very least, are thrilling. How about joining forces with Gator great Bradley Beal to jump-start the post-Kevin Durant era in Phoenix?

Or teaming up with KD himself in Houston?

How about Oklahoma City, basking in the glow of its first-ever NBA championship?

Or a chance to serve lobs for Victor Wembanyama in San Antonio, the same place Martin and the Gators earned NCAA immortality in April?

Alijah Martin averaged 14.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists on 45.2% shooting from the field in his lone campaign at Florida. He averaged 32.5 minutes per game in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, helping Walter Clayton Jr. with the scoring load while playing consistently tenacious defense on the perimeter.

We cannot know for certain just where Martin will land here and now, but there's one thing we know for sure -- one lucky NBA team is poised to get in on the ground floor with a high-flying operator boasting full-on championship grit.
