The college basketball season recently concluded, following a national championship victory from the Florida Gators.
Florida entered the Final Four as one of the four No. 1 seeds, joined by Duke, Auburn and Houston. They defeated Auburn in the Final Four and eventually took down Houston in the national title game.
Following the NCAA Tournament, all focus turned toward the transfer portal in the college basketball world.
According to Travis Branham of 247Sports, Auburn, a runner-up in the Final Four, recently suffered a hit in the transfer portal.
Guard JP Pegues has entered the transfer portal after just one season at Auburn.
Pegues is now the fourth player to transfer out of Auburn, including Chad Baker-Mazara, Jahki Howard and Addarin Scott.

Pegues didn't see the floor much during his lone season with the Auburn Tigers. He started in two games and played in a total of 15 games this past season at Auburn, according to ESPN.
During his time on the court for the SEC program, Pegues averaged 1.4 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game.
Before transferring to Auburn, Pegues was a star at Furman. His final season in the SoCon had him producing 18.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
Throughout his college career, Pegues has averaged 10.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
As Branham explained, the former First Team SoCon star will likely need a waiver to play another college basketball season.
