Florida Gators forward Keyontae Johnson thanked everyone for their best wishes via a video he shared on Friday as he continues to recover following his collapse to the court during last Saturday's game against the Florida State Seminoles:

The junior, who was a first-team All-SEC selection for the 2019-20 season, collapsed coming off a first-half timeout and was rushed to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He was eventually moved to Gainesville, and his parents explained on Tuesday that Johnson was breathing on his own, speaking with others, and had FaceTimed the Florida team.
Despite the good news, the Gators understandably postponed matchups against the North Florida Ospreys, Florida Atlantic Owls, Florida A&M Rattlers, and James Madison Dukes. Florida is now scheduled to resume play versus the Vanderbilt Commodores on Dec. 30.
"This has been an emotionally taxing time for Keyontae's family, friends and teammates," Florida athletic director Scott Stricklin said in a prepared statement released on Thursday. "Our hope is that everyone impacted will take an opportunity to process those emotions and regroup ahead of the start of the new year."
The Gators are 3-1 on the season following the loss to Florida State.
