Florida's Alex Condon Announces Major Career Decision

Todd Golden and the Florida Gators achieved college basketball supremacy as they climbed the mountain and won their third college basketball national championship, their first since the Billy Donovan era.

Behind the heroics of the Final Four's Most Outstanding Player Walter Clayton Jr., the Gators reign victorious, and celebrations in Gainesville have begun.

Alex Condon was one of the special pieces that made this team so good down the stretch as an all around playmaker with 10.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game.

He announced on an Instagram post that he will be putting his name into the 2025 NBA Draft, while maintaining his collegiate eligibility.

It was stated earlier that if he chooses to withdraw from the draft and come back to college, that it will be for Florida as they would attempt to repeat as national champions.

Condon's next month will be key in determining his future, with the NBA Combine occurring May 11-18. After that, he will have until May 28th to either come back to college or continue on in the NBA.

A projected late first round pick that declares for the draft typically stays in, and Condon's versatility on the floor makes him an incredible draft candidate for a lot of teams.

He was beloved by fans around, especially in the national championship game where he racked up 12 key points, and four steals, including the one to seal the game.

The next month for Alex Condon will be key, and whether he chooses to continue his career in the NBA or come back to Gainesville, wish him the best of luck in his journey.
