Two former Wildcats made their move to the Pac-12 as both Keion Brooks Jr. and Sahvir Wheeler play for the Washington Huskies.
This is Brooks Jr's second season with the Huskies, while it is the first for Wheeler.
Both of these former Cats have started the season off hot, as Brooks Jr. is averaging 24.3 points per game, which has him tenth in the nation.
Brooks Jr. is also averaging eight rebounds, 1.7 assists, one steal, and 0.7 blocks to go with his 24.3 points per game.
Wheeler is also off to a hot start, scoring 16 points per game while also averaging 3.5 rebounds and six assists.
Wheeler hasn't shot the ball well from deep, as he is shooting 14.3%, but that's not his game, and he is finding ways to score around the rim and get the ball to his teammates.
Brooks Jr. scored 32 points in the Huskies' 75-67 win over the Northern Kentucky Norse on November 9th.
If these two keep playing this way for the rest of the season, both Brooks Jr. and Wheeler could be All-PAC-12 selections.
This is a Husky team that could make an appearance in March if these two former Cats stay hot.
It's great to see these two former Cats having success at their new home in the PAC-12.
