Four former Tar Heels in action on Thursday
USA TODAY Sports

For the third time in less than a week, all four North Carolina standouts will be in action at Summer League in Las Vegas.

Check to see which former Tar Heels will face-off against one another on Thursday and which two will look to continue their winning ways.

Pete Nance

Nance and the Cleveland Cavaliers will kick off the day's action when they square off against the Chicago Bulls at 3:00pm on ESPN2.

They are one of just three undefeated teams remaining and Nance has played a key role in their success.

Through three games, Nance has averaged 8.3 points and 2.7 rebounds, while shooting 53 percent from the floor and 50 percent from three-point range.

Signing an Exhibit 10 contract with Cleveland, he has a chance to find his way onto the roster or within the organization.

Brady Manek

Perhaps the most successful former Tar Heel at Summer League has been Brady Manek.

Although he, along with multiple other major contributors, did not see action in the Hawks' win on Wednesday, Manek has been a standout for Atlanta.

In two games, he is averaging 13.5 points per game, good for second on the roster. He has tallied four rebounds per game, while connecting on 55 percent of his shots and 50 percent from three.

Manek has also shown improvement on the defensive end, recording a team-high 1.5 blocks per contest.

The Hawks will wrap up their four game schedule at 3:30pm with a matchup against Philadelphia on NBA TV.

Garrison Brooks

After a four year career at North Carolina and one season at Mississippi State, Garrison Brooks recently completed his first professional season as a member of the Westchester Knicks.

He has spent the 2023 Summer League with the New Orleans Pelicans, appearing in all three contests.

Brooks is averaging 6.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game.

His efficiency on the offensive end has seen him connect on a team-high 77.8 percent of his shots.

Brooks and the Pelicans will face-off against the Charlotte Hornets at 7:30pm on NBA TV.

Leaky Black

Black and the Charlotte Hornets will take on Brooks and the Pelicans, rounding out the action for the four Tar Heels on Thursday.

Between Sacramento and Las Vegas, Black has played in two games for Charlotte. He has logged a total of 30 minutes, averaging four rebounds per contest.
