Former WVU F Gabe Osabuohien recorded his first double-double in the NBA G-League on Friday night for the Cleveland Charge. Osabuohien’s statline fits the fan favorite Mountaineer as he had 11 rebounds and 10 assists against the Maine Celtics.

Osabuohien is in his second season with the Cleveland Cavaliers G-League affiliate, averaging 3.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists through nine games.
Osabuohien spent three seasons at West Virginia after transferring from Arkansas in 2019. The fifth-year senior appeared in 87 games from 2019-22, averaging 3.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.4 blocks. Osabuohien won a share of the 2022 Co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year award.
