Three members of the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's basketball team received Big Ten honors on Tuesday.

Dawson Garcia was voted onto the All-Big Ten Third Team by the coaches while receiving All-Big Ten Second Team honors from the media. The media and coaches voted point guard Elijah Hawkins as an honorable mention and Cam Christie made the All-Big Ten Freshman Team.

Garcia, who was an All Big Ten honorable mention last season, leads the Gophers with 17.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. He's sixth in the Big Ten in scoring and 12th in rebounding.

Hawkins is second in the nation with 7.5 assists per game and he leads the country in assist-to-turnover ratio.

Christie, averaging 11.3 points while shooting 40.3% from 3-point range, has exploded onto the scene as one of the top freshman in the nation. The two-time Big Ten Freshman of the Week is the first Gopher to make the All-Freshman team since Amir Coffey in 2017.

Noteworthy: Parker Fox received Minnesota's sportsmanship award.

Minnesota is back in action Thursday at 11 a.m. in the second round of the Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament against Michigan State.
