The Georgia Bulldogs have landed their fourth commit in four days!

According to On3's Hayes Fawcett, four-star running back Jae Lamar has committed to the Dawgs over the Tigers, Seminoles, Hurricanes, and many other Power Five schools.

"BREAKING: Four-Star RB Jae Lamar has Committed to Georgia, he tells me for @on3recruits. The 6’0 205 RB from Moultrie, GA chose the Bulldogs over Miami, Clemson, FSU, & Auburn," Fawcett reported via X/Twitter.

Lamar, 6 feet and 205 pounds, has established himself as one of the nation's top running back prospects from the class of 2024. On3's industry rankings have him listed as the No. 9 running back in his class and No. 13 overall prospect in the state of Georgia.

He will enter his senior year following an outstanding junior year where he rushed for 885 yards on 112 carries, averaging 7.9 yards per attempt, and scored 11 rushing touchdowns. He also contributed two receiving touchdowns, bringing his total to 13 touchdowns for the 2024 season.

It's worth noting that Lamar really made a name for himself in a big rivalry game against Lowndes High School, where he went off for 182 rushing yards on just 13 carries, including a 71-yard touchdown run, and added a 77-yard touchdown catch, racking up a total of 250 all-purpose yards.

He is the first running back that Georgia has committed to their recruiting class of 2026, which has 21 players and currently ranks No. 6 nationally.

“I’m at home baby, let’s work! Go Dawgs," Lamar said shortly after committing to Georgia on Tuesday, June 25.
