
The Georgia Bulldogs can feel at ease knowing their 2026 five-star quarterback commit, Jared Curtis, isn't going anywhere, even though he is visiting Vanderbilt this weekend to watch them take on Missouri.
Curtis spoke with On3's Hayes Fawcett on his visit to Vandy, where he also gave fans a big sigh of relief.
“I’m just going down there to watch the game with my coaches and a teammate that’s looking at Vanderbilt,” Curtis said. “It’ll be a fun time. At the end of the day, I’m still a Bulldog.”

This is great news for Georgia, considering they just lost two commits to other schools in four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle and three-star edge Corey Howard.
Curtis, 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, originally committed to Georgia in 2024 but decided to explore other options before getting reeled back in. Per On3, Curtis is currently ranked as the No. 3 overall prospect in the class of 2026, the top quarterback in the country, and the No. 1 QB in Tennessee.
Georgia currently boasts the nation’s No. 2 recruiting class and has 29 players committed to their recruiting class of 2026:
