According to Rivals' Chad Simmons, "multiple" programs are still pushing for four-star running back Jae Lamar, including the Auburn Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, and Florida State Seminoles.

That also means that Lamar hasn't completely closed off his recruitment.
Lamar is the No. 9 running back in his class and No. 13 overall prospect in the state of Georgia, according to On3.
He's set to enter his season at Colquitt County High School after an outstanding junior year where he rushed for 885 yards on 112 carries, averaging 7.9 yards per attempt, and scored 11 rushing touchdowns. He also hauled in two receiving touchdowns.
It’s worth noting Lamar really made a name for himself in a big rivalry game against Lowndes High School, where he went off for 182 rushing yards on just 13 carries, including a 77-yard touchdown catch for 250 all-purpose yards.
The Bulldogs just missed out on landing five-star running back Savion Hiter, so they must find a way to keep Lamar happy.
Georgia currently boasts the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class and has 31 players committed to their recruiting class of 2026:
